“Art in the Garden” will be held at the colorful and historic Danish West Indian Farm known as Tillett Gardens. Featured at this one-day event will be fun for the whole family to include shopping, interactive arts activities, live music and performances, food, drinks and more. Also enjoy the Annual Arts Alive Bake-Off Challenge, held every year during the spring festival. Island bakers enter their baked goods to be judged on taste, texture, presentation, and creativity. Founded by Arthur Mitchell, Dance Theatre of Harlem is the first black classical ballet company in the United States of America. The company’s graceful and vigorous routines have taken the dancers around the globe repeatedly.
Through careful and precise planning, this year's show is geared to be one to remember. When the ocean spray touches your feet, you will be sure to plan again for next year's show. The following information will assist you in preparing for what will be a memorable experience.
Each night the entrance fee is $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the gate. VIP tickets are $250.00 for the 3 nights including food and drinks all night.

St John's Festival and Carnival season consists of a month of celebrations which showcase the best of the caribbean culture. While each year has a different theme and somewhat different schedule, Carnival's month long activities always culminate on the 4th of July with a parade and evening fireworks. There are activities for all including the very young and very senior. Music is always a constant throughout the month.
On Sunday May 27, 2012, Friends will host its ninth annual Beach-to-Beach Power Swim. The race consists of three courses: a short course from Maho to Cinnamon, about 1 mile; an intermediate course from Maho to Trunk Bay, about 2-1/4 miles; and a long course from Maho to Hawksnest, about 3-1/2 miles. Swimmers compete as individuals or as part of a 3-person team. Swimmers also compete in the "assisted" category using snorkel and/or fins.
